The exhibition which took up the first floor of MAD, was an exhibit of the newest ventures from design studio Nendo.
'Founded and led by Oki Sato, Nendo has gathered international attention and more than 45 design awards for its beautifully simple, yet surprisingly humorous work in interiors, furniture product design, graphics and architecture.'
The exhibition seemed to have a theme of 'illusion' with apparently hovering chairs, mysterious waves within vases and solid lamps that had the appearance of soft fabric looking mushroom shaped pastel bulbs need I say more...!
A true example of how simple ideas (yet I suspect a far from simple creation) and subtle design creates a big stir .
